Well, "Buttkong" is virtuoso scoring, that goes without saying. And that only leads off the score. The rest of the CD shows a lot of flair and a good instinct for scoring. The brief "The ATF" is textbook military film scoring plus a bit of comic book whimsy added, which rather sums up the whole thing (substituting any other style for military as the need arises). "Beavis the Sperm" is a fun little pizzicato-driven piece. "The Standoff" brings the score to a very nice conclusion. With this score Frizzell shows that he is a name to watch in the future.
