A mixed bag of cut-rate 1980s synth-pop and some decent synth-scoring. The penultimate track "Angel's Triumph" is the highest point in a mostly low-lying score. The track "Hollywood Boulevard" really does sound just like Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science". My first exposure to Craig Safan was the understated "Warning Sign" and this makes for a disappointing comparison, competent but ultimately uninteresting and a bit too dated. Not recommended. | |
