Want a preview of Realitywarp? Just download the trailer now! We think it's pretty cool, and editing the trailer was frustrating but fun. You need the RealPlayer G2.Video © 1998 Faded Flowers Productions

In 1996 I started "directing" and script-editing the Mysterious Theatre 337 show at HME/Visions. This clip is from the 1997 show when the featured Doctor Who episode was Four to Doomsday. It's almost predictable, but what a perfect set-up for the joke. File © 1998 Steven W Hill

Our Logopolis gag from The Reign of Turner was fun to shoot. We set up the TARDIS at the end of Rob's driveway, got five or six people to drive around the block a few times for some traffic, and Rob put on his best Python pepperpot voice for Auntie Vanessa. Video © 1996 The Federation

The Caves of Androzani setup: the Fifth Doctor carries Peri into the TARDIS. He tells her to guzzle some Jack Daniels before he falls unconscious to the floor. Peri is little prepared for the change about to come over the Doctor. Believe it or not, this scene still makes me laugh, and I've seen it at least 60 times. Video © 1996 The Federation

In the Destiny of the Daleks bit, Romana says she's bored and the Fourth Doctor tells her to go change into something else. Which she does, several times. Among the memorable Romana regenerations is the one that looks suspiciously like a future incarnation of the Doctor. The raw footage (not featured in the clip) has us all breaking down laughing after this take. Video © 1996 The Federation

Just how does Colin Bayker get fired? Well, in his words, "I couldn't eat anuvver fing." But JNT has a teeny little Dunkin Munchkin he insists on feeding to him... The cool music is by Rob Warnock and *might* be on the Realitywarp CD. Video © 1996 The Federation

JNT has decided to take the show in a different direction, and creates a new set of series opening titles to rival the best American SF television shows. And, in a stroke of creative genius, he has Bunny Langford sing the Doctor Who signature tune. "Doctor Who, I love you... yes I do, you know I do..." Video © 1996 The Federation

The beginning of the end. This clip is just a taste of the final confrontation between the protagonists and the producer. They've had enough and want to punish... Video © 1996 The Federation

S-A-V-E-W-H-O had our own version of the titles for K9 and Company, while Flake's 7 II: The Wrath of Jan had some brilliant alternate titles for Dempsey and Makepeace featuring Avon. Tommy and Lalala decide that they want to change the series for the new season, and show JNT this tape to demonstrate the crime-fighting style they want: Hart to Hart. Video © 1996 The Federation

Janet Feelding has been fired once already, but she brought a few boxes of JNT's favourite donuts and he hired her back on the spot. Well, this time she goes too far, ripping one of the TARDIS console panels clean off the set. And this time, she won't be back. Video © 1996 The Federation

So Christopher Ryan was in the episode Mindwarp which is all we needed to do a crossover parody scene with The Young Ones. This isn't the only Young Ones gag in The Reign of Turner either. Anyway, Sil is puzzled when the guys appear during the mind transfer scene and Vyvyan is excited because his mind is now in the body of a chick. Later, Brian Blessit comes in and shoots everyone, including himself. Video © 1996 The Federation

A quick little joke based on Pee-Wee Herman. Turlough sometimes has problems when he's trying to contact the Black Guardian through his crystal. In S-A-V-E-W-H-O he got the Black Guardian's answering machine. Here the situation is different. Video © 1996 The Federation

Colin's been fired. JNT wants him to do a regeneration scene, but Colin refuses with two fingers raised. Unfortunately, a mishap with the frantically exercising Mel forces a regeneration, and the choice is out of Colin's hands. In one take, Jeff Sparrow (playing Sylvester) leaned too far and knocked one of the TARDIS walls over, so he and Rob (playing Mel) quickly improvised getting sucked out of the TARDIS through the hole in the walls.
