Added 08 Jul 2000 The cover for the soundtrack CD was a bit of a challenge. Rob especially didn't want any pictures
of himself on the cover, and requested something similar to what I did for the Realitywarp CD cover, using an object as the focus instead
of a person. Fortunately with Realitywarp we had the orb, but unfortunately we didn't have anything comparable for Traumaturge.
I toyed with a few designs and settled on the dominant image from the poster, the eye-zoom thing on Plentitude. Since that wasn't enough,
I found a picture of a police box that I could put in the foreground. The result is pretty good, I think, and looks especially good inside
a CD jewel case.

Added 08 Jul 2000 The back CD tray insert is almost exactly the same as the one for the Realitywarp soundtrack.
Nothing special about the design, but Rob did elect to include information on the equipment he used in the production. I also included the Federation
logo on the CD spine, which is a bit of a nice touch.

Added 08 Jul 2000 Again featuring a lighter, pastel look for the background and a generally uncluttered
design. I also stuck with the Trebuchet typeface for the credits instead of changing to the more traditional narrow typeface.
The tagline isn't very dramatic, but I think it adds a tremendous amount of appeal to the poster.

Added 21 Jan 2000 I began with a much lighter background than I've used before, and then added the Doctor and Nyssa. Positioning was
difficult with this one, but the hardest thing was putting my own face on the cover - no matter what I did, it just
didn't look good to me, until I made it into blue tones and added a zoom blur, THEN it looked good. Finally I added
Jacey and took the natural colour away from the left side of the cover, letting the background blend through. I'd love
to know what you think about it! Cover design © 2000 Steven W Hill

Added 21 Jan 2000 This is the cover used for the second printing of Realitywarp. Over time the white background behind the logo
started to bother me, so I wanted to fix it. Erin wasn't happy with her picture on the original so there's a different one here.
I also added the tag line from the poster, and changed the background to the sparklier one. Overall, I think it is a definite improvement.

In keeping with the general design of Realitywarp (like a feature film rather than a Doctor Who episode)
I put together this design for a one-sheet poster. The actual size is 26x39 (inches), and although these won't be available to
buy, you may have seen the full-size poster at Visions'98. Can I just say I'm really happy with the way this turned out? Poster design © 1998 Steven W Hill

The cover for Realitywarp is similar in style to The Reign of Turner but I had an
urge to create an actual logo for the movie. You see the result here, and of course you'll notice
that the color scheme is red-based where The Reign of Turner was green. The sleeve is
now complete and reads "Approximate running time 55 minutes" where in fact the running time is 58 minutes.
I chose to keep the plain text title on the spine instead of using the logo; that way all our tapes look
similar standing on a shelf.

I created a new sparkly star layer for the CD cover with far more points of light than are used on the video cover.
The background is the result of applying various blends to about seven different layers. This one looks really nice
when printed out and inserted in a jewel case. Cover design © 1998 Steven W Hill

Added 21 Jan 2000 This is the back cover insert for the CD tray. Not much more than the same swirly background turned negative, with some
bold borders. Looks pretty nice, I think. Cover design © 1998 Steven W Hill

The cover for The Reign of Turner was created to look exactly like a legitimate BBC
release, and boy did it work. Everybody walking past one of these tapes at Visions would look
twice, or stop to take a closer look. The original design had the real Doctor Who logo
before I decided to be more cautious about copyright. I replaced it with a colorful abstract
design that just happens to look similar to the logo, especially when seen from a distance. Cover design © 1997 Steven W Hill

Added 21 Jan 2000 This cover for the special release of our classic S-A-V-E-W-H-O was not as easy as it may seem because
the movie was shot in our early days before we learned to take a lot of production photos, thus we had very little
photographic material to work with. This cover betrays the fact that it was created in a bit of a hurry, but it
does at least continue the consistent format used on Federation tapes. Cover design © 1999 Steven W Hill

Another photo of Peri (Jennifer Adams Kelley) teasing the Sixth Doctor (Steve Hill). Well, I don't actually mean teasing,
what I mean is, she's, you know, doing... things... er, that are, um... well, they, uh... they take all the attention
away from the Doctor and he gets jealous. *Whew* Clearly when we did this picture, I had never seen the real publicity photo
we were parodying. Photo © 1989 Robert Warnock
