Ann was 9 years old at the time of filming. This is Ann's first color film (her scenes in Incendiary Blonde, which was shot in color, were deleted from the final print). Her other color films were The Boy With Green Hair and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

Ann appears (uncredited) in two scenes in the film.

The first scene is at 35:05 at the barn dance. She dances with various people. She has no lines or closeups in this scene.

The second scene is at 44:18 outside as Joel McCrea (as the Virginian) and Barbara Britton (as Molly Wood) ride up on horses. She has several lines and a decent closeup.
